In the last autumn round 6.11.2021, we played a match with the reserve club FC Tempo Prague. The opponent, who doesn’t hide his ambitions to move forward and who was strengthened by the players from the “A” team, was looking forward to this match as much as we were. The match took place in the early evening under artificial lighting, which was a novelty for us, since we often play during the daytime. The match started quickly and at a very fast pace, which isn’t typical for the teams of this tournament. Unfortunately, in the 30th minute we got into a fight when our defender Bessonov received a red card. This moment put us at a disadvantage, and we had to play against the circumstances. Our team had more possession of the ball than the opposing team, but unfortunately, at the end of the half we conceded one goal and went to the booths with the score 0:1. During the break, the coach made a big speech to his players, which produced the necessary effect. Right in the 47th minute, Derkach was able to deliver a beautiful shot at the opponent’s goal, which hit the upper left corner from 20 meters. During the second half, the opponent replaced players several times, but the game didn’t slow down its pace. The second half was marked by a lot of interesting and dangerous moments, decisive play on both sides and quite open football. We had a few scoring chances, but we couldn’t score that fateful goal. But, as they say, you don’t score, they score for you, and that’s exactly what happened. In the 62nd minute, the opponent’s score increased to 1:2. By the end of the second half, we tried to catch the opponent by surprise with quick attacks, but we didn’t have the firepower. The match ended with a score of 1:2, so we attribute to ourselves the first defeat in the autumn part of the competition.
