A nail-biter until the final whistle: MSM snatches an away victory
MSM’s 16th-round match in the Prague Premier League was an away game that turned into a serious test of character. In the match against SK Dolní Chabry, our team had to remain calm and patient, responding to every opponent’s attack and waiting for their chance.
The first half of the match was fairly cautious, but closer to halftime, MSM managed to open the scoring—in the 42nd minute, Denys Melenevskyi scored with a precise shot. However, they were unable to hold onto the lead until the whistle: in the 45th minute, Jiří Šmicer equalized—1:1.
After the break, the visitors took the lead again. In the 48th minute, Yehor Chudinov finished the attack successfully to make it 2-1. Nevertheless, the hosts kept up the pressure, and in the 68th minute, Jáchym Červenka equalized once more, setting up a tense finish.
In the decisive minutes, MSM looked more composed and sharper. The team didn’t let up and was rewarded for its persistence—in stoppage time, Anton Dzhurylo scored the winning goal, securing a crucial 3-2 away victory.
This match was a testament to composure, discipline, and the ability to fight until the final whistle. MSM continues to move forward, demonstrating mature and confident play, especially in difficult away matches.
