After a long winter break our players got back to the trainings on January 16.
2 players joined our team meanwhile: Ascarrunz Lobo Pablo Andres (Defensive Central Midfielder) from Bolivia and Jacobs Corey Anthony (Forward) from Zimbabwe.
Pablo made his debut in the first friendly match after the break against FC Hrusice.
The game took place at FC Viktoria Sterboholy stadium on January 27.
The first half of the match was physically difficult for both teams.
This resulted in a low number of goal attempts in first 45 minutes.
After the half-time, both teams started to play more aggressively what resulted in many goals. In the 50th minute, we conceded a goal – 0:1.
The response was immediate from out team.
First, the captain Andrii Ponomarenko turned home the brilliant cross by Viktor Dovhaniuk and then Emin Paizullaev gave a lead to MSM with a long-range ball – 2:1.
But the visiting team was not going to stop. In the 65th minute, due to our defense error, a striker netted a goal with a fine header – 2:2.
Last 20 minutes of the match were full of goal attempts what resulted in 2 more goals for each team. Final score – 3:3.
