The new soccer season is just around the corner. After several weeks of intense preseason training, the teams from the MSM Football Academy are entering the home stretch before the start of official competition. The first official match of the new season will take place on August 16, and the players, coaching staff, and the entire club are eagerly preparing for new challenges.
Special attention this year will be focused on the MSM U19 team. After a convincing victory in the Prague First League, our juniors have earned promotion and, for the first time in the Academy’s history, will compete in the Prague U19 Premier League. Ahead lie matches against the capital’s strongest youth teams, where our players will be able to test their skills at a new level, gain invaluable experience, and continue their development.
Our A-team also has big goals ahead. Like the U19s, the first team has set its sights on competing for promotion to the Prague Premier League. During the offseason, the roster was bolstered by talented players from various countries—Georgia, Ukraine, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and others. The newcomers have already actively integrated into the training process and are ready to compete for a spot on the roster.
Fierce competition, experienced players, promising young talent, and a shared team goal create a special atmosphere ahead of the start of the championship.
During preseason training, the MSM Football Academy teams focused on all key aspects: physical fitness, tactical discipline, on-field coordination, and building a strong team spirit. The coaching staff did everything necessary to ensure the team is as prepared as possible for the start of the season.
