A hard-fought battle and a display of character: MSM shares the points in a match that ended 1–1.
The match against FK Zlíchov 1914 at the UNYP Arena in Prague was tense and competitive from the very first minutes. MSM took the initiative and controlled the ball more often, but the visitors played compactly and organized, preventing many dangerous chances.
The first half was marked by a fierce battle in midfield with minimal scoring opportunities for either team.
After the break, MSM managed to take the lead. In the 55th minute, Aleksandr Khokhriakov opened the scoring, confidently converting his chance and logically capping off the hosts’ sustained pressure.
However, just a few minutes later, the situation on the field changed. In the 58th minute, Dato Girdaladze received a second yellow card and was sent off, leaving MSM a man down for the remainder of the match.
Despite the opponent’s numerical advantage, MSM showed character and discipline in defense, striving to maintain their lead. The visitors increased the pressure and began threatening the goal more frequently.
In the 71st minute, Štěpán Vošta equalized, bringing the match back to life.
The game remained tense until the final whistle. In the 86th minute, FK Zlíchov 1914 were reduced to ten men—Daniel Boubín received a second yellow card and was sent off, evening out the numbers.
In the closing minutes, both teams tried to snatch the win, but the score remained unchanged.
The match showcased the resilience, dedication, and team spirit of MSM, who managed to earn a point under difficult conditions.
