MSM Stages a Comeback Against SK Střešovice 1911 “B”
MSM’s away match against SK Střešovice 1911 “B” in the 18th round of Prague’s 6th League turned into a true two-act drama—a disastrous start followed by a powerful comeback. The team found itself in a dire situation but managed not only to come back but to snatch a victory thanks to their character and self-belief.
The hosts dominated the early stages of the match. As early as the 20th minute, František Kožený opened the scoring with a beautiful strike from outside the box. MSM needed time to regroup, but the situation only worsened before halftime—in the 45th minute, Daniel Vokurka doubled Střešovice’s lead off a corner kick, sending the teams into the locker room with a 2-0 score.
After the break, the game changed dramatically. MSM came out for the second half with a different mindset—more aggressive, faster, and sharper. The first sign of a comeback came in the 61st minute: Rodion Shkliaruk finished off an attack with precision after a pass from Yehor Chudinov, cutting the deficit.
